My Short and Sweet Story
Becoming a leather craft artisan was never the plan.
Being a Truck Driver has been my passion for years.
Leather tooling became my hobby about 2017.
I needed a handbag that no-one else had, and one that would last me a lifetime, and would also look stunning all year round, so i bought some leather and decided i would make my own.
As soon as I started leather crafting I loved the feel of carving leather, and being a 3rd Generation Leather Artisan, seem to come so naturally. Watching my parents growing up as a small children. I even today, can remember seeing the things they made. From Whips to wallets, handbags and so much more.
Leather crafting is what makes me happy these days. Creating and working with leather, is something a normal everyday person would not understand. Each day i am experimenting and learning new ideas. You never stop learning.
All of my skills are self-taught.
I did not know anything and had to learn step by step over a period of time.
The journey has just begun and it is slowly but definitely coming together.
My dream is for anyone and everyone to own a piece of my art work, and have something that is not factory made, or mass produced. Something that will last a lifetime, for many generations on to admire and hopefully one-day, experience the leather craft trade. Just like myself.
